Device and Board Support
Core functions for the Linux runtime are compatible with most Linux-capable devices, whereas the Zephyr runtime has more dependencies on drivers required for specific functionality.
Atym provides commercial support for the Atym Runtime for customers that have a paid license for the Atym Hub. We have a growing Approved Device List (ADL) for licensed customers and support custom devices based on business need. Contact Atym sales if you have specific hardware requirements.
Developers participating in our free evaluation program can select their choice of device for the Linux Runtime, or from the below list of MCU-based development boards for the Zephyr Runtime. Refer to the included details and the QuickStart Guide to onboard your chosen device and get connected to the Atym Hub.
Eval program participants receive best effort support from Atym and the Ocre community. Email us at eval@atym.io with any questions and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Atym supports both Linux-based devices and select MCU-based development boards.
- For the Linux-based runtime, binaries for amd64 and arm64 are statically linked with all external libraries, ensuring broad compatibility across distributions — from Ubuntu to Raspberry Pi OS — with only standard system libraries required at runtime. No flashing is required. You can simply download the Atym runtime and libraries and run containers directly. See the Linux Setup Guide for details.
- For the Zephyr-based runtime for specific development boards, each guide provides:
- Hardware specifications and features
- Connection and setup instructions
- Flashing procedures
- Relevant board documentation links
Select your board’s manufacturer in the sidebar to the left, or choose Linux if you want to run Atym on a PC, server, or other Linux-based system.
